Shanay is an internationally certified birth doula with training from experts in the field, including Michel Odent, Debra Pascali-Bonaro, and Lilliana Lamers. Shanay has supported many families over the years, primarily in Berlin, Australia, and England. Originally from a small town south of Perth in Western Australia, Shanay now resides in Berlin, Germany, having relocated from New York to deepen her expertise in childbirth and newborn education.

As a mother of three, Shanay's own birth experiences have shaped her journey, from a home water birth with the presence of a midwife and doula, to an unplanned hospital birth, and a serene home birth in front of a Netflix fireplace.

With over 130 births and support for more than 200 postpartum families, Shanay emphasizes the transformative power of birth when it occurs in a supportive environment. She is dedicated to providing reassurance, calmness, and non-judgmental support, while offering expert guidance tailored to the unique nature of each birthing and postpartum experience.
